A New Prince

You are asleep, safe in your bed with the doors and windows safely latched. A dark shadow passes over your window for a moment, interrupting a loud snore. There is a dull thud as your bedroom door opens and closes. Muffled footsteps fade away. Aladdin slips as quietly as he can down your hallway looking for valuables and mostly for a trophy. He slips and a small glass figurine drops, almost in slow motion. Aladdin lets out a gasp as it takes its final tumble…and lands safely on a tacky floor rug. He sighs in relief and turns around, only to crash into a glass vase. The racket is tremendous

Aladdin stepped into the bar. He was dressed in clothes painted skin-tight. The bar was busy as usual and the regular patrons gave little notice to anyone new. Aladdin smiled, not the bright smile of joy, but a smile that showed off the points of his teeth. It was the smile of a predator, and everyone looked delicious.
